They shook the pavement from end to end, it seemed they would never come to rest. Birds rise into fevered skies from their assemblies where they nest. I pray for any anodyne to break my vacant laboured steps. For self indulgence or preservation’s sake, I’m still limiting myself. My motions swell, my actions crest and break. I’m split between what I want and what I choose to take. I’m wasting time by trying desperately to reconcile doubt with productivity.
